Dear Okoboji Pioneer Supporter:

The Okoboji Pioneer Booster Club is proud of our student athletes, and with your help we are providing continued support for our Okoboji school athletic programs. The accomplishments of our student athletes during practices, the regular season and at state events are tremendous, and we applaud their efforts! 

Our Booster Club continues to serve and support ALL our students with Proud Pioneer Tradition. We do this by setting aside a percentage of our membership drive funds to support ALL programs, including speech, drama, vocal music, debate, and band. In addition to supporting those programs, the OPBC provides financial and volunteer support for all athletic programs at the middle school and high school levels to enhance their respective sports and their overall athletic experience. 

The 2023-2024 school year was extremely exciting for our Booster Club, and we want to highlight our accomplishments:

  • Provided funds toward camp and tournaments for the basketball, volleyball, wrestling and cheerleading teams. 
  • Supported the strength and conditioning program by providing VOLT software application and purchasing t-shirts given to 35 OHS Ironman/Ironwoman qualifiers. 
  • Renewed software subscription for NOAH basketball shooting system.
  • Purchased uniforms for girls’ basketball and boys’ golf teams.
  • Funded in-season golf clinic and lessons for the boys’ golf team.
  • Renewed HUDL subscriptions for the volleyball, football, wrestling and basketball coaching staffs.
  • Purchased equipment:
    • Full set of starting blocks for track & field teams
    • Training aids and shot sled for wrestling teams
    • Training boxes for volleyball teams
    • Guardian caps for football team
    • Rangefinders for the golf teams
    • Gaming equipment for the E-sports teams
  • Sponsored Sports Preview Night for OHS fall sports & end of season banquets for all OMS/OHS athletes.
  • Awarded senior scholarships to eight seniors totaling $2,000.
  • Sponsored celebration ads and meal money for our student & team state qualifiers. 
  • Contributed $7,000 to the school to support the non-athletic activities and fine arts programs. 

Due to the generosity of our community, we were able to support these major projects in the amount of over $53,000! In addition to these financial contributions, we volunteer countless hours with concession stands, tournaments, Homecoming, tailgates, social media coverage, and so much more! We strive to make our mission statement a yearly reality:  The Okoboji Pioneer Booster Club will promote leadership, encourage teamwork, and cultivate a strong work ethic among our student athletes. Along with our teachers and coaches we will help build programs that represent our school proudly, encourage enthusiasm, and foster sportsmanship and support among our school and community. 

We encourage all Pioneer supporters to consider making a financial donation and or volunteer your time! With your monetary donation your name or business will be listed in the programs for all our activities this school year. We are looking forward to another successful year!
